It was waiting on a website revamp, although (unknown to me at the time) it would end up being\u00a0a good part of the year before I was able to enjoy enough downtime to do so. Rather than revise it yet again, I&#8217;m posting it as is, backdating it to July 24, and hoping that it puts me a few inches closer to being completely caught up.]<\/br><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s been more than three months since my last\u00a0article roundup. One of the reasons I&#8217;ve been putting this off is because I&#8217;ve been meaning to give my\u00a0entire site an overhaul. When I put it\u00a0together four years ago, I deliberately went with a minimal, back-to-basics, image-light theme. But it&#8217;s always struck me as a bit sloppy (for example, I could never find a suitable default font) and in need of better portfolio presentation. Someday soon I&#8217;ll give it a much needed refresh.<\/p>\n<p>Here are the articles and projects from the last few months. I&#8217;ve almost certainly overlooked a few.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inlander.com\/spokane\/creative-license\/Content?oid=2440860\" target=\"_blank\">Creative License<\/a>,\u201d an article on Window Dressings&#8217; visual interpretations of novels by Get Lit! festival authors\u00a0(<em>Inlander<\/em>, April 16)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inlander.com\/spokane\/knickers-in-a-twist\/Content?oid=2443867\" target=\"_blank\">Knickers in a Twist<\/a>,\u201d a preview of Ignite! Community Theater&#8217;s staging of Steve Martin&#8217;s <em>The Underpants<\/em> (<em>Inlander<\/em>, April 23)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>A\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inlander.com\/spokane\/theater-the-music-man\/Content?oid=2457689\" target=\"_blank\">preview<\/a>\u00a0of <em>The Music Man<\/em> at Spokane Civic Theatre\u00a0(<em>Inlander<\/em>, May 14)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Around this point (mid-May) I started doing quite a bit of ongoing unbylined\u00a0writing for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.printerlogic.com\">PrinterLogic<\/a>, a\u00a0Utah-based company with a really phenomenal\u00a0enterprise print management solution that can either complement print servers or replace them altogether.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.inlander.com\/spokane\/jet-fretter\/Content?oid=2462327\" target=\"_blank\">Jet Fretter<\/a>,\u201d a review of <em>Boeing Boeing<\/em> at The Modern Spokane\u00a0(<em>Inlander<\/em>, May 21)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Somewhere around here\u00a0(late May, early June) I translated several articles for the book <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.delius-klasing.de\/buecher\/Mercedes-AMG+GT.203408.html?ansicht=\" target=\"_blank\">A Star is born<\/a><\/em> [sic] commemorating the new Mercedes-AMG GT from the publisher Delius Klasing. During this time I also translated the entirety of\u00a0<em>Driving Performance Magazine<\/em>\u00a0that Delius Klasing produces for AMG.
