Apologies to anyone who recently received an e-mail from me that was previously sent two, three (or more) years ago. My desktop hard drive gave up the ghost on Friday afternoon, and though I was back up and running by Saturday evening (thanks to Strong Solutions), there were a few hiccups during the restore process. One of those hiccups was that a bunch of old e-mails got transferred from the “Sent” folder to the outbox. While the computer was running through all its post-restore tidying, unbeknownst to me it was also churning out dozens of old e-mails. And I probably would have been none the wiser if I hadn’t received a handful of unexpected “Message Undeliverable” auto-replies.
So, sorry for any inbox clutter. It was unintentional.
